Hi. How have you been? It's been AWHILE since I've last written, not including my accidental posts, whoops. So, I thought I'd take a second to update you on the past month. A lot has happened. For starters, I'm officially in my third year at FSU. I know it's crazy, even crazier I'm officially twenty, cue the existential crisis!
Fashion plays a crucial part in expressing yourself. However, most mornings I would wake up and throw open my closet doors only to mumble “I have nothing to wear” as a pile of discarded clothes engulfed my room. Lately, I've been in an unproductive slump. I come home from a full day of class and work, and the only thing I can think about is watching Castle with my roomies. Don't get me wrong, those are often my favorite moments, but then I find myself waking up ungodly early (I'm talking 4 a.m.) in a desperate rush to catch up on my mile-long to-do list. Now that I'm finally getting back in the grove of things, I thought I'd share all the things that help me stay motivated.
My freshman year of college I would roll out of bed, rub the dust out of my eyes, throw on a hoodie and head to class. Last semester, my first semester of sophomore year, I landed an internship that required me to be there at 8 a.m. (don't worry it was 1000% worth it). I knew the gremlin hoodie look wasn't going to cut it, so I developed a morning routine, and it has honestly saved my life. Here are some of the tips I used to implement my routine:
